We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our DevOps and Platform team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines and infrastructure that support our data-driven applications and systems. You will work closely with the data science and engineering teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our data infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our data infrastructure
  • Implement data governance and security best practices
  • Analyse and optimise data pipelines for efficiency and performance
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data infrastructure documentation, tooling and dashboards.
  • Strong experience with data engineering and data pipelines
  • Experience with AWS tooling such as S3, Glue, Athena and DMS
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, especially through the use of documentation and dashboards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
