We are currently on the hunt for Data Engineer (f/m/d) based in Berlin or working remotely.
Your mission with us:
Empower the BI team to grow and scale through more efficient current data engineering and new data competencies.
- Work with our growing need for data by building on our existing data models and data warehouse to conceptualize different options for designing big data solutions and implementing these solutions in a scale-up environment.
- Designing, documenting and implementing data models for the data warehouse.
- Work with the BI team to build out cloud computing and parallel processing for Lingoda.
- Work with the data scientists to create an infrastructure to manage growing volumes of data and heterogeneity of data.
- Be a sparring partner for the Data Engineering, Development and Data Science community at Lingoda.
- Drive the documentation and process development of our data warehouse as well as reporting requirements in collaboration with Analysts in the BI team.
- Refine and orchestrate data warehouse systems (Postgres/MySQL).
- Develop and write scripts to access external data sources and ensure smooth imports into the database.
- Perform in-depth analysis of AWS infrastructure performance data.
- Handle releases and use version control in the Github repository.
- Take ownership of technical solutions and processes on the reporting team.
