We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing People Analytics team. The People Analytics team’s mission is to use data to help business leaders make smart decisions about people. People data underlies decisions related to hiring, promotions, compensation, engagement, development, attrition, benefits, diversity, and other HR business domains. In partnership with People Ops, you'll work on the design and implementation of our People Data platform that supports key People Analytics initiatives. If you have strong software, analytical and data modeling skills and share a passion for building robust and high-performing data infrastructure, we’d love to talk to you.

Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and/or business intelligence
    • Thorough understanding of modern data warehouse architecture
    • Hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines
    • Experience with managing Google Cloud Platform resources
    • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with BI tools like Google Data Studio

Responsibilities

    • Build a robust and high-performing People Data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
    • Design and build datasets to meet the needs of business critical applications and analyses
    • Establish and maintain rigorous data quality standards in our data pipelines and analytical datasets, deploy automated data pipeline management and quality monitoring
    • Help drive process improvement by implementing best practices in data management and governance
