As a Data Integration Engineer, you’ll onboard new data partners, set up and test patient de-identification tools, load data into clinical systems, and analyze and interpret data quality. The ideal candidate is a smart, creative, and curious analytical thinker who demonstrates strong technical and customer service skills and an excellent aptitude and affinity for data quality.
The Client Engineering (CE) team provides highly responsive onboarding and data delivery services for OM1’s Next-Generation Registry studies and custom data products. This is a key role within this team with responsibility for driving our high standards and with excellent potential for growth!
What You'll Do at OM1
- Onboard new data partners via methods like SFTP, SSH, AWS S3, REST APIs
- Analyze and interpret data changes, attributes, and quality
- Set up and test patient de-identification tool
- Perform manual tests against a test plan Author automated tests using DBT, Python, or similar
- Work closely with project managers and site / clinical personnel to obtain and onboard data on schedule and with excellent quality
What Experience You'll Bring
- Programming skills, preferably in Python, SQL, or similar
- Knowledge of data transfer tools / protocols like SFTP, SSH, AWS S3.
- Ability to load and export data via REST APIs using tools like Airbyte or similar.
- An affinity for analyzing and interpreting data quality and working with databases.
- Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment with continuous delivery
- A strong desire to advance healthcare and improve patient outcomes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced trouble-shooting skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
What's Nice to Have
- Experience with DBT, Snowflake, Terraform, AWS, and / or Databricks
- Experience with clinical / healthcare data processing.
