About the team & Opportunity:

Quartet is looking for a Data Integration Specialist to lead Quartet’s integrations with electronic health record and claims data and own the business relationships with our healthcare customers and vendors.

This position requires outstanding communication and project management skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare data landscape, and technical skill set of data languages used for data manipulation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate can execute against competing deliverables in a timely, high-quality fashion.

The Data Integration Specialist will collaborate with numerous teams - both internal and external - to source data the Quartet needs to operate, helping to ensure that the scope and direction of each procurement and processing is on schedule. You’ll interact primarily with Quartet’s customers and data vendors, managing customer expectations and competing data integrations. You'll represent the Quartet’s Data Operations during customer meetings, where you will collaborate with our data partners to extract the right data elements from their internal systems and ensure they map to the data points needed for Quartet's standard operating processes. You'll be responsible for data validation and owning internal and external communications when data quality expectations aren't fully met.

Within Quartet, this position requires cross-team collaboration on these integrations. Teams you will work with include: Quartet's data engineers, partnering with them to develop our data pipeline and transform our partners data into standard models, Quartet’s data science and business intelligence teams to communicate or update new issues in ongoing feeds, as well as Quartet’s implementation and client success teams to effectively share progress and priorities and negotiate the exchange of healthcare data with our partners.

Accountabilities

  • Own business and technical relationships with Quartet’s integration partners, including the project management of new integrations
  • Be the subject matter expert on health care data integration standards, such as HL7, for Quartet’s internal teams
  • Translate health care data requirements into Quartet’s standard data models, working closely with engineers to provide technical specifications
  • Manage multiple data integrations, providing data quality assurance and maintenance as needed
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical integration issues or bugs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Project management experience with external vendors or clients
  • Strong business relationship management skills to develop partnerships with key customer stakeholders
  • Experience and deep understanding of healthcare data, particularly HL7 and claims data
  • Knowledge and experience with data transfer protocols
  • SQL fluency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with both highly technical teams and non-technical teams; ability to communicate effectively to both
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
  • Python proficiency
