Branching Minds, a leading developer and vendor of software solutions for preK-12 schools, is looking for an entry level Data Manager to help shape our work in order to facilitate data-driven instruction and be a data-driven organization ourselves.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the data import process from school districts to Branching Minds
• Facilitate the data implementation process for onboarding districts

• Collaborate with district data staff and serve as a liaison between district data staff and Branching Minds’ engineering and customer success teams
• Help support teachers and administrators via our online customer support chat tool

• Assist in the planning process to improve Branching Minds’ internal processes and develop future data integrations

Ideal candidates are:

• Passionate about improving education and committed to equity of success for all learners
• Comfortable with the dynamic, fast-paced culture of a startup, and able to remain organized when faced with multiple priorities
• Able to communicate technology concepts to a non-technical audience
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable manipulating and cleaning data

We prefer candidates that have experience:

• Working in SQL, particularly Postgres
• Working in customer support
