VetsEZ is currently seeking a Data Migration Engineer to join a team to support the PTEMS contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The position will focus on migrating, validating, and maintaining large volumes of contact center workforce management (WFM) data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability in support of operational efficiency across thousands of daily interactions.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Support the migration of workforce management data across legacy and modern platforms within the PTEMS environment.
- Assist with data mapping, transformation, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with VA standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operations teams to troubleshoot data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document migration processes, workflows, and technical procedures for operational and compliance needs.
- Monitor and validate data transfers, ensuring consistency between source and target systems.
- Participate in system cutovers, reconciliations, and post-migration validation activities.
- Provide technical support for ongoing data migration, integration, and reporting efforts.
- Contribute to cross-functional meetings with technical and business stakeholders to align on migration goals and timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for querying, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ETL tools, data mapping, and data transformation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience supporting VA, federal, or large-scale contact center programs.
- Familiarity with workforce management platforms (e.g., Verint, NICE, Aspect) or related contact center systems.
- Exposure to data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of federal data compliance standards and migration best practices.
- Ability to obtain a Government clearance.
