Role Description

At Trovata, we build software that empowers companies to manage their finances better. We closed our $20M Series A round in January of 2021, and among our investors, we count J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo, and Capital One. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining the mission-critical ETLs, APIs, and ML models. Our ETLs connect to thousands of institutions and retrieve the necessary data in real-time. Our APIs filter, transform, and aggregate millions of data points across database engines and serve the results to our customers in fractions of a second. Our world-class (and patented) Machine Learning models can categorize and forecast using state of the art online learning techniques in both the supervised and unsupervised realms. We are looking for a Data Operations Engineer to join our team to help build, maintain, and administer tools to monitor the data consumed by our ETLs. Experience with self-healing infrastructure is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and administer tools to monitor the data consumed by our ETLs

Requirements

• Have experience building, maintaining, or using tools that manipulate large datasets
• Have experience in scripting languages, preferably Python3
• Are familiar with the AWS environment including, but not limited to, DynamoDB, S3, and AWS Step Functions
• Are familiar with the development of REST APIs
• Are familiar with the data-flow of an ETL
• Are familiar with TLS/SSL, PGP Encryption, and Security Key Management
• Have experience creating repeatable process-flows
