SUMMARY

Our iFit Team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to join us as we build products and experiences that empower our broad and diverse user base all around the world.

As a Data Project Manager for iFit, the ideal candidate will need to manage and empower data and business analyst teams to supply key data to help guide business and product decisions, identify metrics of improvement, build business plans, and create sustainable data structures.

In this position, the candidate will identify, define, analyze, prioritize, and refine data requirements and requests, and will communicate those requirements to our data and business analyst teams. The Data Project Manager will need to prioritize trade-offs, clarify requirements, and define priorities of various requests coming into their teams.

They’ll also work directly with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and department managers, as well as with the development team leads, to ensure successful translation of those requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define, prioritize, and clarify requests

  • Build and groom request backlogs

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and feasibility

  • Responsible for daily scrums with team members and weekly or bi-weekly planning sessions

  • Maintain the functional quality of the work being delivered by setting and evaluating expectations and acceptance criteria

  • Communicate priorities based on well-defined and measured business cases

  • Establish goals and metrics to measure effectiveness of data structures and business and subscription changes, and then monitor and report on progress

  • Maintain process documentation

  • Work with other project managers as well as Senior Product Owners to understand use cases, features, business, and technical domain rules, as well as overall project goals

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with managing data and/or teams of analyst

  • Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools. Direct, hands-on experience grooming project backlogs, and coordinating and prioritizing requirements and requests in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Proficiency in project management software platforms

  • Ability to effectively and accurately present information to customers, coworkers, and managers.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Outstanding technical and non-technical communication skills

  • Ability to understand abstract, complex systems from technical descriptions

  • Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues

  • A strong, high-level knowledge of common data architectures

  • Experience authoring technical user stories and use cases

  • Understanding of ETL data process

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 1 year technical/business/software project management experience
