Why is this role important to Field Nation?
Field Nation is looking for a Data Science Lead to join our highly driven Product team! This is a newly created role and we’re looking for someone who is able to come in and hit the ground running. By rolling up your sleeves and diving into the data, this person will conduct analyses to drive decisions around product initiatives that foster the health and growth of our field service technician marketplace. Reporting directly to the EVP of Product and working closely with our Product leadership team, this position offers the opportunity to be in a fast-paced, high growth environment where new ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must.
What you'll get to do:
- Play a key role in product planning + prioritization to ensure we’re focusing on the most impactful efforts
- Develop a Category Health Dashboard to drive insights into the dynamics of our marketplace at an actionable level
- Support our A/B testing efforts by assisting with experimental design and leading the analyses
- Continuously evolve reporting to provide deeper, more actionable insights
- Partner with the Data team to evolve our data warehouse to better enable self service across the Product organization
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Deep analytical skills and experience working with analytics tools (Tableau ideal)
- Very strong SQL skills
- Well versed in A/B experiment design + analysis
- A driven mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Experience working in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Strategy Consulting a plus
- Economics or Statistics background is a plus
