About the Data Science Team

In the Data Science Team, we are using state-of-the-art machine learning to build applications that help  enterprises to take advantage of new capabilities with a focus on knowledge graphs. Examples of applications that are usually focused on knowledge graphs include, but are not limited to, search, recommendation, natural language understanding, and computer vision.

The Opportunity (aka role description)

Instructions: As a Data Scientist with expertise in search and recommender systems, you will help our product and our customers to build search and recommender system applications that will solve significant real-world problems. The search and recommender systems will be built on top of our knowledge graph management system and they will be powered by the knowledge graph paradigm. During this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our top-talent team, on real-world data where your work will have a direct business impact. 

 What You Will Do (aka responsibilities)

  • Build search and recommender system applications on top of our knowledge graph management system
  • Translate business problems to machine learning applications
  • Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art machine learning models relative to the area of your work
  • Push the boundaries of current approaches 
  • Design and implement state-of-the art machine learning models
  • Day-to-day collaboration with the members of our data science team 

Who You Are & What You Bring (aka qualifications)

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology or related field  with a specialization in machine learning
  • Experience in designing scalable machine learning models
  • A good portfolio of search and/or recommender systems projects such as  content-based recommendations, collaborative filtering, hybrid recommendations
  • Natural curiosity, problem solving skills, communication skills

Nice to have

  • Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology or related field with a specialization in recommender systems
  • Familiarity with the state-of-the-art on search and/or recommender systems 
  • Experience in declarative logic programming languages such as Datalog

Hiring Process

Qualified candidates can expect the following hiring process:  

  • One 45 minutes screening meeting with our Head of Data Science
  • A 45-60 minutes meeting with one of our senior Data Scientists on technical communication skills
  • A 45-60 minutes meeting with one of our senior Data Scientists on machine learning expertise
  • A 45-60 minutes meeting with one of our senior Data Scientists on coding

All calls will be conducted using zoom with video.
