- Discover and communicate patterns in your business domain (e.g., trucking economics, shipping performance) using your quantitative analysis and data communication skills.
- Influence metrics by identifying impacting levers, making recommendations to other teams, and measuring impact.
- Empower stakeholders to understand patterns in your domain by defining core metrics and designing / building / maintaining self-serve analytics (i.e., business intelligence tools).
- Inform Deliverr’s decisions around your domain by providing insights via sound analysis.
- Knowledge
- Quantitative degree (e.g., math, physics, economics). 0-2 years of experience in a related role.
- Skills
- Proficiency in SQL fundamentals.
- Abilities
- Precise and concise communication. Ability to build effective reporting (e.g., reports, dashboards). Urgency for action -- over rigor when necessary. Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt in a rapid-growth startup.
- Programming ability (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience working in a logistics and/or ecommerce org.
