About us

Have you always wanted to unite your passion for learning with your skills as a Data Scientist? Do you want to work with an incredible team that is making an impact on learning around the world? Then we can’t wait to meet you!

We’re looking for a highly motivated and driven Data Scientist (based in Spain) who is passionate about data, automation, statistical models, technology, innovation, and education, and would love to work in a collaborative environment at Edpuzzle, a leading edtech company with offices in San Francisco and Barcelona.

How will you work?

Do you like to face new challenges? You’ll have a front-row seat at one of the fastest-growing companies in educational technology, trusted by over 80% of schools in the USA and millions of teachers and students across the globe. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to our product and team development, be part of diverse projects and stay up to date with the latest software technologies. In the process, you’ll be challenged daily, learn constantly, see the impact of your opinions and work, and grow as a Data Scientist.

What technologies will you find?

Technically speaking, the product database is hosted in MongoDB Atlas and we use Atlas Data Lake to transfer the data to our AWS S3 Data Lake. Then, we use Spark code in AWS Glue as our ETL to send everything into AWS Redshift, our Data Warehouse. Data Quality and modeling will be done in Python code. Finally, we make use of visualization tools to report everything.
