Ten Spot is hiring a Data Scientist
Ten Spot is a fully remote organization and has been since before COVID made it trendy. While we have groups of employees in Chicago and New York, our team works from cities and states across the USA. Though many companies offer fully remote working environments, no one is as good as Ten Spot at building strong team culture in a remote working environment: it’s what we do.
What we do
Ten Spot is the workforce engagement platform enjoyed by companies and communities nationwide. Our popular, all-in-one virtual platform helps forward-thinking companies increase their productivity, boost retention, and build a strong culture.
How do we do this? We provide companies with a scalable tool to bring teams together no matter where they are physically located. Ten Spot allows companies to harness real insights to improve culture, identify leaders, and create a space that welcomes everyone, all while having a great time!
Why Ten Spot
The Ten Spot product is evolving at lightning speed, and our employees have the opportunity to make an extraordinary impact. We are growing fast and achieving new milestones every day. And the problem we're solving couldn't be more relevant!
We are looking to add a data scientist to our growing product and engineering team. Ten Spot's product creates a wide variety of data, from basic product usage and analytics to sentiment surveys, video viewing data, chat logs and more. We intend to leverage these data assets to build a best-in-class suite of tools to help managers do their jobs better. This is our first hire in a data science role, and we need a self starter who can help us build the right environment to house and analyze our data, and build a true data science function that complements our existing product/engineering/UX team.
The right candidate will have experience working in a startup, and is comfortable with ambiguity and change. Ideally you've also worked on a product team before and understand how to communicate with developers and product managers, and have a track record of using data science to optimize product and process through A/B tests, experiments, simulations, etc. Positive, self-starter attitude is essential, as is comfort with full remote work.
Requirements:
Our full-time employees receive a competitive compensation and benefits package, including stock options, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, and 401K. Work from wherever you want, and know you’ll build camaraderie with the team because we use our own product and care about our culture and our people.
