As an early Data Scientist at Nightfall, you’ll design & implement models that enable us to detect sensitive data with high accuracy across petabytes of heterogeneous & unstructured data.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct state of the art research in natural language processing, deep learning, and machine learning.
• Selecting and engineering features based on mining massive data sets.
• Prototyping & testing algorithms to innovate state of the art detectors of sensitive information.
• Building, training, tuning a variety of machine learning & deep learning models.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building state-of-the-art detectors.
• Productionize data science models and collaborate closely with data engineering & product team to establish a feedback loop.

Ideal Qualifications:

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, machine learning, NLP, deep learning, AI or a related technical field.
• Strong software engineering skills across multiple languages including but not limited to Python, Javascript, etc.
• Experience building one of the following production systems in industry: natural language processing, bayesian models, information retrieval, learning to rank, recommender systems, speech recognition, unsupervised learning.
• Good mathematical understanding of popular NLP and/or machine learning algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with NLP tools, libraries, and corpora.
