As an Engineering Manager at SentiLink, you will lead, manage and grow a team of 3-5 engineers to build and enhance the data platform that powers our fraud detection products and related applications, and provide technical leadership to the team. You will work with product, engineering, and security teams across the company to build a seamless data platform and underlying systems to ensure data availability for all products and teams within SentiLink.

This is a remote, US-based role.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage and lead a passionate and agile engineering team to build, enhance and maintain the data platform with a scalable architecture
    • Provide technical expertise throughout all phases of the development lifecycle to help drive the product roadmap
    • Engage with key business stakeholders to define the technical and product roadmap
    • Enable the engineering team to deliver outstanding value to the business by ensuring operational excellence at every level
    • Work closely with the data science team to innovate and improve on all data products
    • Hire and continuously grow top engineering talent
    • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as part of the engineering leadership team

Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience building cloud based software products
    • 3+ years of experience managing teams of 5+ people in an agile environment
    • Strong hands-on technical leader; driven, focused and high degree of ownership
    • Experience designing and building large and high-scale data based products
    • Experience building data pipelines, merging data sets at scale
    • Experience mentoring and coaching engineers on the technical front, high degree of empathy and concern for team and individual outcomes
    • Excels at partnering with internal teams like Product, Data Science, Risk Operations, Integration, Sales
