Position summary: This position is responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization. The position will use a combination of financial analysis tools and techiques as well as data analysis tools and technologies to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the organization.
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management; strong process documentation skillset preferred
- Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
- Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems
- Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience. Experience with financial analysis focused on month end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting. General knowledge of analysis tools, SQL, and Microsoft Applications.
