Behind every groundbreaking product, there’s an awesome team! A robust Fraud&Risk Operations team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding transactions and ensuring consumer trust. This dedicated team is responsible for identifying, preventing, and combating fraudulent activities, ensuring a secure and seamless shopping experience for both buyers and sellers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fraud & Risk Operations Specialist who shall play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our e-commerce marketplace by detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions. You will be responsible for investigating suspicious activities, implementing fraud prevention strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure and trustworthy online environment.

Responsibilities

    • Facilitate the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies in line with the overall business strategic directions while ensuring Eneba’s stable growth.
    • Utilize advanced tools and techniques to analyze large data sets and identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent activity.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on fraud trends, mitigation strategies, and performance metrics.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize fraud management processes and reduce operational costs.
    • Collaborate with other teams such as finance, customer support, product development, marketing, etc. to address fraud-related challenges and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.

Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience in fraud detection and prevention roles, preferably in the gaming or e-commerce industry.
    • Experience with products, like gift cards or e-money vouchers.
    • Good level of SQL with an ambition to improve.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex information in an easily understandable way.
    • Strong knowledge of fraud detection and prevention methods and tools.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in an uncertain, fast-paced environment where priorities might change.
€35,000 - €45,000 a year
*Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
*We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
