We are looking for a finance professional to join our Finance team at Talkspace. In this role, you’ll be responsible for working cross-functionally with our Business Development, Account Management, Product, and Data Science teams to define and measure finance metrics and KPIs.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage budgeting process and financial reporting for Talkspace, reporting OPEX management, and supporting FP&A processes for Marketing and G&A
  • Analyze performance variances versus plan and determine key drivers of variance, for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency of financial metrics and KPIs utilized across internal teams via dashboards 
  • Support development of what-if scenario planning to assist in setting quarterly operational plans
  • Work in partnership with FP&A Directorto continuously evolve financial management, controls and reporting
  • Build and improve processes, leveraging systems, and creating necessary alignment between departments.
  • Additional duties as assigned  

About You

  • 1-3 years of experience in Financial Reporting and Forecasting Experience
  • BBA or other finance background strongly preferred 
  • Advanced understanding of Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
  • Previous experience analyzing large datasets
  • Utilize software such as Netsuite or SAP
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence software  (i.e. Looker, Tableau) 
  • Experience with FP&A Forecasting software and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills adaptable to a range of audiences
  • Ability to distill topics for executive level consumption successfully
  • Acute attention to detail, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver within tight deadlines
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability with challenges and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $90,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
