Join a dynamic SaaS company working for social good. The Product Analytics Lead will join our growing Data team to lead the Product Analytics function at Classy. This role will influence the Product roadmap through the cultivation, curation, and visualization of timely and relevant data to Product Management and other stakeholders at Classy. This is a foundational role that will enable self-service analytics and advance a data-driven culture in our Product org.

The ideal candidate has a solid data analytics background, is highly collaborative, and is passionate about evangelizing and showing what is possible with data. You bring experience in a SaaS environment and have worked closely with a Product org. We want to talk to you if you are excited about leading our Classy’s Product Analytics function.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Become a domain expert on Classy’s Product organization and provide data-driven analyses to inform our product roadmap and improve customer experiences
  • Define, propose, and develop analytics products for enabling self-service and insight
  • Consolidate Product Manager’s analytics requirements and incorporate feedback from other business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with PMs to define success metrics for feature development, inform on tracking and downstream analytics needs, and create dashboards for monitoring progress
  • Represent the Data team by scoping out Data Engineering and Analytics requirements
  • Design hypothesis-driven experiments; make clear, coherent and holistic recommendations based on test results
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior-level/non-technical stakeholders
  • Drive data governance and increase organizational awareness of Product Analytics tools (i.e. Heap, Pendo)

What you bring (Required):

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, and/or data science
  • Experience working in-house in a SaaS business
  • Data visualization expertise and experience with BI tools (i.e. Looker or Tableau) 
  • Fluency in SQL and modern analytics warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships and trust with all partners at Classy both technical and non-technical

What would be awesome to have (Preferred):

  • Experience partnering closely with a Product Management team
  • Highly data-driven
  • Familiarity with Product Analytics tools (i.e. Heap, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Pendo) and/or CDPs (i.e. Segment).
  • Data modeling experience in dbt
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling and statistical programing languages like Python or R
