The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join the Machine Learning Team.  Since 2019 UserTesting has been focusing on AI/ML including generative AI, LLMs and deep learning models across every layer of the Product. You will be instrumental in bringing cutting edge AI/ML techniques to analyze UserTesting's rich and diverse set of data such as video, text, and UX design. 

You will be a proactive team player, capable of working asynchronously in a distributed team, with a strong capacity for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies. You will have strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, ownership, initiative, and integrity. You will work with the team and wider teams within the business to align machine learning solutions with business and technical strategies.

What we are looking for

• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms (e.g., linear regression, SVM, decision trees, neural networks, clustering, etc.) and best practices
• Solid experience in deep learning required especially training NLP and generative models
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with deep learning architectures and techniques, such as Transformers and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs)
• Background with NLP techniques
• Experience in building Machine learning pipelines to train and monitor model health
• Exceptional learning ability and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a distributed team.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science,  Mathematics, Physics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Knowledge of AWS Sagemaker, SQL
