The EA Digital Platform (EADP) group provides central services that help game teams to tap into the power of the global EA ecosystem. Compatible across multiple platforms and devices, our platform empowers teams to foster deeper, more meaningful relationships with our players. EADP is the foundation on which EA's games are built. By providing reusable capabilities that game teams can easily integrate into their games, we allow them to focus on making incredible games.
The Experimentation team is looking for an AI engineer to help build the Experimentation live service/Data processing pipeline and drive the innovation and excellence that will help facilitate the experimentation platform in the global EA ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- You will help build a unified platform across EA, extract and process massive data from spanning 20+ game studios, and use the insight to serve massive online requests
- You will develop reporting systems that inform on important metrics, detect anomalies, and forecast future results
- You will develop batch and real-time processing to solve data mining problems, using Hadoop, Airflow, Presto, etc.
- You will develop large-scale online platform to personalize the player experience and provide reporting and feedback, focusing on content optimization and experimentation
- You will write reliable and efficient programs to process and consume massive (petabyte) datasets with large clusters of machines
- You will work with data modelers, data analysts, and BI developers to understand requirements, develop ETL processes, validate results, and bring them to production
- You will develop state-of-the-art ML / statistical algorithms for content personalization, recommendations, and experimentations.
- You will research and implement novel ML / statistical approaches for new problems.
Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD student in Computer Science, or related fields (focus in AI, ML, or statistics background)
- Passionate about relative research in online experimentation and solving open-ended problems.
- Proactive collaborators and excellent communicators that work well with multiple teams to deliver production.
- Strong programming skills (object-oriented and functional paradigms), fluent in at least one programming language such as Jave, Python, Ruby or C++.
- Familiar with scripting languages such as bash, awk.
- Experienced in building large-scale data and distributed systems
