About the role:

In this role, you'll own the responses to emerging fraud attacks and oversee daily decisions of balancing losses and customer experience. You will have a direct impact on the success of our business  by managing and strengthening a team of Fraud Analysts, representing Risk Intelligence on various projects, and collaborating with Data Science and Customer Success teams to develop and deliver on process & product improvements that reduce  fraud losses and friction for our customers.

You should demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to key stakeholders. You will work closely with our leadership to provide the detailed analysis that drives critical decision making, and improvements to the trust and operational success of the business.

How you’ll have an impact:

• Manage and strengthen a team of Fraud Analysts through ongoing development, coaching, support, and performance management
• Plan and structure work assignments for team and monitor progress and results
• Represent Risk Intelligence on various projects, meetings, and initiatives regarding fraud investigations.
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization to understand new risks, identify new opportunities, remove roadblocks, and ensure commitments and KPIs are met
• Meet directly with our customers  risk and leadership teams and act  as a Risk Intelligence consultant to present findings on current fraud trends and share  best practices
• Acts as the escalation point of contact for fraud mitigation issues, problems, and questions. Assist analysts with resolving difficult or complex issues with quick turnaround and accuracy

Past experience and required skill you’ll need to thrive in this role:

• Proven ability to build and manage a great team. 3+ years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience required.
• 5+ years experience in ecommerce, payments, or fraud/risk related industry. 
• Ability to document process steps, inputs, outputs, requirements, identify gaps, and improve workflow
• Effective at presenting findings, data, and conclusions to influence key stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking skills with advanced judgment capabilities
• Highly analytical skilled and able to provide analytical coaching to the wider team
• Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
• Solid cross functional partner with experience working with data science, customer success, or product teams
