Who you are?
Under the supervision and of product marketing, the market research analyst will play a critical role by providing compiled research, analysis and relevant reports to support and inform decisions around product strategy, and roadmap; competitive analysis, market positioning and messaging for product launches, go-to-market strategy and marketing programs, including data and analysis on market segments; quarterly win/loss analysis and objection handling for sales. 

The market research analyst will create and develop reports for internal stakeholders and work with external agencies, when applicable. Design and build visualization dashboards for various internal stakeholders. Must have the ability to synthesize data and present the findings to internal stakeholders. 

What you will be doing?

    • Collect and analyze data through modern and traditional methods on customers, competitors and the market place
    • Research and analyze our channel partners’ GTM to interpret and see sales inflection points for focused opportunities and closing business
    • Devise and design qualitative and quantitative custom market research projects
    • Provide qualitative and quantitative research and data analytics to advise on GTM messaging and performance of digital programs
    • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify opportunities for market expansion
    • Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations
    • Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data visually and translating complex findings into written text and presenting results
    • Make recommendations for feasible methods for market penetration, sizing and growth
    • Proactively share and present market research reports and data analysis throughout the organization
    • Research competitors and compile data for benchmarking
    • Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and external vendors
    • Advise on new innovations in the area of market research, and create new ways to meet the needs of a changing marketplace

What you will bring?

    • BS degree in Marketing, Economics or another quantitative field
    • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and skills
    • Hands on experience with statistical software
    • Analytical aptitude and data oriented approach
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards such as Tableau, Qlikview, Domo, Salesforce dashboards, GainSight dashboards, etc.
    • Experience working with a wide variety of data sets including Excel, text files, unstructured data, etc.

This job operates in a professional office environment, but we don’t take it too seriously.  Casual dress every day!  We have an open office, meeting and collaboration spaces, phone rooms, wellness rooms and a break room with a ping pong table, gaming machine, and shuffle board!
