Density’s mission is to measure and improve our footprint on the world.

We design and use buildings based on observation, trends, surveys, and precedent. Buildings are the most valuable assets in the world whose performance we do not measure. And yet their construction and maintenance come at an extraordinary cost.

Buildings account for 39% of global CO2 emissions. Our methods of space design and management have led to underutilized space, wasted time, bad design, inefficient energy use, and incalculable opportunity cost.

We need better tools of measurement because measurement will lead to improvement. We used to want these things. But today, the present circumstances demand it.

As a Product Analyst, you will lead analytics efforts to optimize our product features/roadmap and provide the best experience for our customers.

In this role you will:

    • Lead analytics projects across our product lines to deliver insights and perform analyses to answer the why behind insights.
    • Define the metrics that will be used to evaluate the performance of our various product lines.
    • Build out the infrastructure to help run experiments at scale. Support the design and management of experiments that help us move key metrics for Density and a specific product line.
    • Partner closely with our Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
    • Create dashboards that enable partners across the Density product development organization to analyze performance of initiatives.

You may be a fit for this role if you:

    • Have experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative domain.
    • Enjoy working cross-functionally and are a strong communicator.
    • Have hands-on experience with experimentation, including both the design and implementation of experiments.
    • Have a deep understanding of data pipeline concepts / workflows.
    • Can effectively prioritize across concurrent projects and goals.

You might work on:

    • Workplace — tools and features to understand the performance of rooms and amenities and optimize space.
    • Portfolio — help teams around the world understand the performance of their buildings.
    • Employee Experience — enable humans to efficiently find spaces to collaborate with their teams.
    • Deployment and Onboarding — scale Density's sensor fleet through easy-to-use web and mobile experiences.
    • Platform — build the foundation that help us model physical space and people.

What we bring:

    • Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, mental and reproductive health,  401K, equity, Flex Fridays, Remote Friendly, unlimited and mandatory PTO and more.
    • A work environment full of fun, smart, talented, dedicated, and truly kind teammates.
    • Our values: be humble, seek feedback, and always solve the fundamental problem. These values are hard to achieve but we aspire to them daily.
    • A team hailing from places like Apple, LinkedIn, Stripe, Meraki, Hashi Corp, WeWork, NASA, & beyond.
    • $227 million raised from investors like Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, and Upfront Ventures.
We are looking for candidates who are strong in several areas and have exposure to or interest in the others. Most of all, we are looking for candidates who see themselves as a meaningful addition to Density’s team and culture.
