About the role

The product manager for client reporting at Bravely will be building out a new suite of data analytics products telling impact stories with a uniquely compelling body of data on employee experience and needs, and how coaching can make life better at work. We’re working with a diverse roster of major clients (and collaborating on original academic research), setting new standards for how to define impact from HR programs and technologies. This role will bear that out into rich data and reporting tools. You’ll guide product strategy and implementation in collaboration with data, people science, and engineering contributors. You’ll own critical parts of Bravely’s product future, and guide experiments into how our data and reporting can provide the most value.

What you'll do

    • Lead product strategy and implementation for Bravely’s suite of impact reporting products and deliverables
    • Guide engineering efforts to develop new reporting features
    • Collaborate with people science and data team members to determine the data stories our reporting should tell for our client audience
    • Collaborate with client success team members and directly with clients to understand reporting use cases and communicate our approach and capabilities
    • Own collaborative innovation projects on reporting using new third-party bodies of data, new internal data, and/or new research, with clients, partners, and academic researchers
    • Conduct data investigations and design reporting product features to surface emergent insights from employee data at scale
    • Steward user privacy throughout our reporting toolkit at every level

You should have

    • Proficiency in data and business intelligence software conducting original data investigations with multiple variables (you can data dig)
    • Experience shaping reporting, especially a reporting product or feature set - like what gets included, and how it gets built
    • Experience guiding product delivery from concept to release in an agile(ish) environment
    • Experience developing new benchmarks and metrics to measure new kinds of behavior and impact
    • Familiarity with analytical approaches from statistical methods to applications of machine learning like NLP

Nice to have

    • Experience in HR or people analytics, especially HR/people technology
    • Fluency in SQL, Python, or R
    • Practical fluency in data science - i.e. selecting and building the appropriate analytical method
    • Proficiency in identifying the right data visualization for a given purpose

    • Bravely is committed to building a diverse, equity-minded, and inclusive culture where all of our team members feel a deep sense of belonging. We recognize that underrepresented groups such as women and BIPOC may be less likely to apply to a role if they don’t meet 100% of the listed qualifications. We encourage you to apply if you meet some of the qualifications and if this role is aligned with your career aspirations and interests.
