We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be primarily responsible for working with clients to test and automate applications. The role is a technical client-facing role that will be accountable for client application development. The ideal candidate will have experience in client-facing roles and have success supporting technical discussions with clients. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation, support of cloud solutions, modern JavaScript and exhibit superior communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools
  • Create test strategies and test documents, and processes
  • Report and discuss the issue with the development team
  • Perform both manual and automation testing and create test scripts for the projects
  • Provide accurate record results, test cases, and share feedback to the project team
  • Ensure the finished product is complies with the project objectives
  • Test data development and infrastructure development from a functional and system perspective. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a closely related discipline.
  • Solid working knowledge of QA procedures, programming languages, and test management tools.
  • Experience in test automation tools (e.g. Postman, Selenium)
  • Experience with languages such as Java, Python,  C# etc 
  • Experience testing Databricks ETL pipelines and development in the Databricks Lakehouse
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Good presentation skill and report writing skill

Preferred Skills/Experience/Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in Azure, Microsoft, Agile, etc.
  • Experience in SQL/NoSQL databases
