About the role:

We are a team of three, at present, market researchers within Zepz’s Consumer and Market Insight (CMI team) and a part of the broader marketing team.

As a member of Zepz Marketing team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s creative direction and long term strategic decision making.

As the Research Analyst for Marketing you will play a crucial role in helping Zepz understand our customers better and become a more customer centric business. You will help us gather robust insights on our audiences and competitors and continuously monitor our brand performance. You will design and execute research projects that meet our business objectives and assist in reporting insights to the wider business. Your analysis will allow us to look beyond the obvious in the data and inform strategic recommendations. You will work closely with user researchers and marketing analysts, and identify opportunities for collaboration.

What you will own:

Reporting to the (Research Manager), you will:

  • Own & manage the current brand tracking programme
  • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting of core brand KPIs
  • Analyse research data in response to research objectives and business questions
  • Write survey questionnaires and discussion guides
  • Drive audience understanding through deep dive analysis of research and external data
  • Execute research projects from start to finish
  • Prepare research proposals in response to internal research requests
  • Create impactful research reports tailored to respective audience
  • Support campaign performance evaluation 
  • Organise and store data for future research projects
  • Maintain and grow research knowledge bank for the business

What you bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, market research or business
  • Significant experience in market research ideally with a strong understanding of brand and comms research
  • Are able to manipulate large, complex data sets. Knowledge of relevant software (SPSS, Q, Tableau) a bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to distill data into key insights and marketing recommendations 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently 
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, is resourceful and can manage the complexity, pace and change of a high-growth scale-up Tech company
  • Good business acumen and willingness to learn about Zepz and grow into the role
