We’re looking to bring on on additional Senior Analyst to synthesize large data sets into analyses that provide a strategic perspective to partners throughout the company. The ideal candidate is able to translate business questions into an analysis, write SQL queries to pull the required data and apply the appropriate mathematical rigor to extract a meaningful answer to the question. They will work independently with stakeholders to data driven strategic direction as well as advocate for data driven best practices throughout the org.  This role reports into the Director of Analytics and sits on a centralized Analytics team.

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience in an analyst role informing business strategy at a company with a strong data culture
• Proven experience thinking strategically.
• Strong SQL skills
• Understanding of Statistics, mainly around experimentation and AB testing

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will do things like:

• Build dashboards and reports to monitor the major heuristics of the business.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to extract insights about the marketplace.
• Partner with product, operations and marketing stakeholders at various levels of experience and data fluency to implement good data driven strategies.
• Democratize data throughout the organization.
• Be an expert at leveraging data using Looker and our SQL Data Warehouse.
