We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to support our rapidly growing team in Missoula, MT or Seattle, WA. This position is open to remote candidates and is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to take on a meaningful technical role in a rapidly growing company.

This role will be responsible for providing teams access to clean data in our data warehouse. You’ll build models for product, machine learning, and customer use cases. The position is a full-time individual contributor role and reports to the Engineering Manager for Data.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with team members to collect business requirements, define successful analytics outcomes, and design data models
• Own relationships with internal Business Intelligence stakeholders
• Develop highly performant warehouse models to support analytics that drive business decisions
• Serve as data model subject matter expert and spokesperson, demonstrated by the ability to address questions quickly and accurately
• Design, develop, and extend dbt code to provide clean data, ready for analysis
• Approve data model changes as a reviewer and code owner for specific database and data model schemas
• Support ELT/ETL pipelines using Fivetran, partnering closely with the infrastructure team 

You’ll Be Successful With:

• 6+ years in the Data space as an analyst, engineer, scientist or equivalent 
• 4+ years working with a large-scale (1B+ Rows) Data Warehouse, preferably in a cloud environment
• 2+ years managing the same data model system over time, evolving the model to meet new business requirements
• Extensive experience modeling business data from Salesforce (CRM), Netsuite (ERP), Marketing, and Product raw sources
• Advanced SQL; experience using Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse, dbt, and Git. Python experience is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker 
• Ability to convey and explain complex technical information to non-technical staff as well as translate non-technical requirements into reliable data models
• Demonstrated experience leading 4 or more analytics projects from beginning to operationalization
• Demonstrated experience designing and socializing Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and reference SQL scripts to scale data acumen and adoption
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex business activities, technical requirements, and recommendations
• Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative environment
• A love of learning
