You will be joining an organization that has treated 450.000 people to date and is continuing to scale up.


To further scale our growing business, we are looking for a Senior BI & Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Data is the backbone of smart decision making and we are committed to harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and streamline processes. You will play a crucial role in helping Oviva make informed decisions by analysing and interpreting data to generate valuable insights. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to share your expertise with and mentor your fellow team members, fostering a culture of growth and learning.


This is a full-time, permanent position open to candidates located in Germany. We understand that work-life balance is important and that’s why we provide flexible and remote working, we also have an office located in central Berlin for those who prefer a hybrid approach.


The Role:

  • Dive into the depths of data to perform in-depth analysis, unveiling valuable patterns, trends, and insights that drive business growth.

  • Own all reports for our Swiss business, steering us towards data-driven excellence.

  • Employ SQL and Google's BigQuery to extract valuable insights from our Data Warehouse, empowering data-backed innovations

  • Create clear and informative data visualizations, charts, and dashboards to present complex findings for our internal teams, making data come alive.

  • Prepare analytical reports and insights for our senior management, empowering them to make well-informed decisions.

  • Drive standardisation, foster best practices, and ignite a self-service culture across the BI team, setting new benchmarks of excellence.

  • Mentor fellow team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to empower their professional development.


What are we looking for you to bring

  • Demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to handle and enhance imperfect data sets, ensuring actionable insights are derived.

  • Fluent in SQL, able to read and “speak” the language with ease, enabling seamless data manipulation and analysis.

  • Experience with data build tool (dbt)

  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving, taking initiative to tackle challenges and drive projects forward.

  • Experience with data visualisation tools with the ability to create clear and compelling data visualisations that facilitate understanding for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into a language everyone can understand.

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
