You are a talented professional looking for a career, not a job.  Reporting to the Director, Revenue Strategy and Center of Excellence, you will work closely with other analysts on the Revenue Strategy team to deliver business-focused insights through data analysis and communicate to users and key stakeholders in the Revenue function. This role is 

Primary responsibilities include ensuring quality data structures for the analysis of data, use of proper statistical analyses, and implementing visualization best practices in created content through Tableau. The candidate must be able to design dashboards with advanced Tableau functionality built with end user functionality in mind.

The Center of Excellence (COE) is the department that helps all leaders in the organization to define, and then manage and house-keep, the relevant metrics of each business that serve as compass for operational management and overall business efficiency.

Location: Toronto, ON or Remote Canada

Responsibilities: 💻

    • Leverage business acumen to understand large amounts of data to extract information, analyze it  and turn into actionable business insights through BI and communicate key insights to users and key stakeholders 
    • Create predictive variables to present within various reports and presentations
    • Develop a strong understanding of business requirements, translate business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving performance
    • Design, development, testing and deployment of visually appealing Tableau Dashboards
    • Work closely with all departments across the Revenue organization to ensure accurate representation of KPIs related to each respective area
    • Identify opportunities to enhance sales and marketing strategies through the collection and consolidation of data-driven analytics
    • Conduct correlation and causal analyses to understand the drivers of win / loss, customer behavior, and sales forecasting
    • Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions
    • Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.

Requirements: ✅

    • University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Business, Math, Statistics or related field.
    • Must possess at least 3-5 years of Business Intelligence, analytics, statistics and/or reporting experience with Tableau, Power BI or equivalent 
    • Strong ability to extract, prepare, manipulate and analyze large amounts of data to draw appropriate conclusions
    • Experience showcasing analytical results to business users via verbal and written communication.
    • Are diligent with data and have demonstrated attention to detail – scrutinize numbers, make sure they are accurate 
    • Love to automate processes – strive for continuous improvement and automation to create scalable processes to support company growth 
    • Can write queries, run calculations and statistical analysis and data pivots 
    • Experience querying MS-SQL databases, experience with Snowflake is an asset
    • You are motivated by goals, a self-starter and are a hardworking individual who likes to wear multiple hats.
