The Role

We are looking for a talented, data-driven Sr. Data Analyst to own reporting and analytics for the GoCanvas product portfolio. In this role, you will analyze and report out on product engagement, adoption, retention, and expansion across the entire customer base. As our Sr. Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing key performance indicators, gauging trends, assessing the impact of implemented product and customer success initiatives as well as deriving new opportunities to delight our customers and grow our business. The successful candidate will have a background in establishing and defining KPI dashboards and is capable of interpreting complex data sets and translating metrics into actionable recommendations. This role will work cross-functionally with other departments and teams internally to unlock insights, and present complex information, translating in ways that others understand and can apply to their daily work.

Your Most Important Initiatives:

• Develop KPI dashboards, visualizations, and granular reports to track our customer's product engagement, adoption, retention, and expansion
• Work cross-functionally with teams in order to drive better customer analytics that inform various growth strategies including customer segmentation, key customer attributes, and behavioral characteristics
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling recommendations into a digestible and actionable format
• Support data needs related to business cadence such as weekly, monthly, quarterly business reviews; respond to ad-hoc reporting needs while ensuring data accuracy & integrity
• Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions

What You Bring

• 3+ years professional experience in a business analyst role
• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an awesome experience that highlights your ability to geek out on reporting & analytics
• Track record of defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights, make recommendations and influence stakeholders
• Strong understanding of AB testing and interpreting results
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience skills with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced in Excel and analytical platforms
• Strong proficiency building reports, dashboards, and business forecasting models using various intelligence dashboarding tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with non-technical team members and successfully translate business questions into analytical requirements
• Strong communication skills with a proven track record to clearly articulate data stories to business and technical audiences
• Detail-oriented, inquisitive and ambitious; Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make progress on projects with limited guidance and educated assumptions based on business acumen
