Guideline is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our nascent product analytics team. You will measure and communicate the performance of Guideline's products, inform product roadmaps and prioritization by sizing product opportunities, formulate hypotheses that can be measured quantitatively, and design tests/pilots to validate them. You will partner with product managers, designers, engineers and others to grow Guideline's product. You will report to the senior manager of product analytics as part of Guideline's centralized data organization, while working with multiple product teams daily.

What You Will Work On

• Develop rigorous frameworks to quantitatively measure the performance of Guideline's products
• Create and maintain dashboards that provide clear information on product health and initiatives to product leaders and executives
• Translate data into insights that help inform product roadmaps
• Formulate hypotheses by quantifying and analyzing user behavior to inspire, inform and influence product roadmaps, design tests/pilots to validate hypotheses and guide use of experimentation
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop product analytic frameworks and create strategies to measure impact of new products/features.
• Partner with product engineering and data engineering to improve product analytic infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or above in a technical or quantitative field
• 4+ years of professional experience in an analytic role
• Experience in quantitatively analyzing data using mathematical or statistical approaches such as correlation, regression, decision tree, etc.
• Experience translating data and/or your findings into insights and recommendations
• Experience highlighting business performance by data visualization
• Experience in ab-testing
• Experience in SQL or other large-scale data processing technologies
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Experience explaining analytical concepts to non-technical audiences

The Data Team

The Data Team is tasked to improve our 401(K) product offerings, where we assist stakeholders to make informed decisions on some of the most challenging aspects in saving for retirement, build and manage the company's data infrastructure and drive internal teams' business performance by uncovering insights from proprietary and public data. The team consists of three sub-teams: data analytics, data engineering and data science. Product analytics fall under data analytics.
