We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Engineering Team.
As a Senior Data Analyst at Hubstaff, you will play a crucial role in driving our data-driven culture and decision-making process. Your expertise in data analysis, modeling, and strategic insight will help shape the future of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insights: Perform complex data analysis to extract actionable insights influencing strategic decisions and business growth.
- Model Development: Develop and implement statistical models to analyze trends and customer behavior.
- Data Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's data strategy, ensuring optimal data collection, analysis, and usage.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex analytical insights to stakeholders and executive leadership, influencing key decisions.
- Project Management: Manage and oversee data-related projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver valuable insights.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in analysis, maintaining high data quality and governance standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including engineering, marketing, and product, to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business goals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in managing large datasets and complex data structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Hubstaff is a fast-growing time-tracking and project management startup that fully embraces remote work. For this particular position, we are looking for someone living in one of the following countries: Poland, Romania, Spain, Brazil, Canada, and the USA. We expect our professionals to work 40 hours/week and hope they can work with us for years to come.
Flexibility is essential to us, so Hubstaff offers this flexibility in your day-to-day work and also in the contract type. Our professionals can be hired as contractors (payment/hour) or as employees in the countries mentioned above (salaried and getting additional benefits like vacations, paid leaves as sick or maternity or paternity leave, equipment and training bonuses, among others).
We get the whole team together on our Annual Retreats to have fun while traveling and getting to know each other! So we had our first in-person retreat after COVID-19 in the Dominican Republic in 2022 and this year - 2023 in Cancun, Mexico.
Annual Salary: This will depend on your country's location, currency, taxes, and type of contract (employee or contractor). But you should expect a yearly gross salary between USD 80,000.00 and USD 110,000.00.
