Salary Range: $70k - $100k base salary, based on qualifications and experience (Targeted 10% Bonus)



Job Summary:


As a Senior Data Analyst, you are responsible for extracting and transforming data from multiple complex data sets & platforms that can be used for insights and knowledge to drive business decisions and software development.  The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for the implementation and management of a Microsoft Power BI platform utilized across functional departments and teams.  This role requires an individual that can take guidance but has the confidence to be an independent thinker and take ownership of the role to insure data validity and insights.  This position works within the R&D department but will be working directly with the TraceGains CEO as well as other departments as needed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Extract, transform, clean, and ensure the quality of data from complex datasets retrieved from multiple sources, including, but not limited to the following products:
    • Salesforce
    • HubSpot
    • Pendo
    • ChargeBee
    • NetSuite
    • Proprietary TraceGains Platform
  • Maintain a Power BI platform for data analysis, visualizations, dashboards, and reporting across multiple departments.
  • Continual monitoring of dashboards and insights to validate data reliability as platforms & systems evolve.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business problems and domain knowledge to help shape the analysis and drive actionable insights.
  • Work across department boundaries to deliver on expectations and goals, due dates, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Proficiency in working with large and complex datasets.
  • Proficiency using SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Proficiency in communicating complex findings and insights through visualizations, dashboards, or reports using Power BI.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Visio, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to utilize WebService APIs and other interfaces to extract data from systems that do not allow direct access to data structures is preferred, but not required.
  • Food & Beverage and Supplements industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
