Job Description
Givebutter is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Revenue Data Analyst to join our growing Data team. We’re looking for someone to be a strong partner and collaborator, working with engineers, analysts, and sales and marketing stakeholders to deeply understand the most impactful business needs and build solutions that scale as we grow.

We want to hear from people who…

    • Have experience turning data from different channels - transactions, CRM systems, customer engagement platforms, web analytics, and marketing automation tools - into actionable insights that empower revenue stakeholders to make impactful decisions.
    • Have collaborated with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Experience, and Customer Support teams, deeply understanding their needs, business use cases, and data requirements.
    • Have demonstrated experience turning complex data concepts into intuitive visualizations - charts, interactive dashboards, reports - that help stakeholders get to the insights more easily.
    • Have strong technical statistical experience in the revenue space - multi-touch attribution, linear and logistic regression, customer segmentation and clustering, churn risk prediction, engagement scoring, and the like.

Responsibilities

    • You'll quickly gain a deep understanding of the revenue team’s business needs and data sources, partnering with stakeholders to understand what’s needed in the short- and medium-term. Working with our analytics engineer, you'll own the definition, logic, and documentation of the data model that supports these needs, focusing on quality, usability, adaptability, and clear communication/documentation in a fast-changing environment.

    • SALES, SUCCESS, AND MARKETING ANALYTICS
    • Manage the inflow of data requests from revenue stakeholders, ensuring adequate two-way communication on needs, expectations, and progress, and high quality, timely delivery.
    • Drive the strategic roadmap of Revenue Analytics as the business grows and data needs scale in both magnitude and complexity.

    • ACQUISITION, CONVERSION, ENGAGEMENT, AND RETENTION
    • Be the subject matter expert in the customer funnel, driving and developing the company’s understanding of acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention through behavioral analyses and insights.
    • Apply statistical methodologies such as logistic regression, clustering, causal inference, predictive modeling, and experimentation to optimize each step of the funnel and derive insights that inform the best ways to engage customers at different stages and states.

    • DATA GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
    • Implement and ensure consistency in data, metrics definition, and terminology across the revenue domain.
    • Collaborate with the revenue teams to ensure data and logic alignment across platforms (data warehouse, Hubspot, Intercom, etc.).
    • Collaborate with the data team to build a scalable source of truth across the company.

Requirements

    • Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
    • Expert querying and data manipulation skills using SQL and Python (or any coding language).
    • Ability to proactively drive initiatives with minimal oversight. You understand when needs arise and creatively find solutions.
    • Experience in Marketing Analytics, Sales Analytics, or similar.
