As a Senior Data Engineer on the Data Science Team, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure that makes our data available and convenient for analysis and machine learning. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can take ownership and lead the way with best practices for data pipelines and working with "Big Data".

(Note: This position is for a team that operates on US Eastern time)

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building data pipelines and event streams
• Experience working with "Big Data" and its inherent challenges
• Experience with AWS data services (such as: Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, CloudWatch, EMR, Glue, Athena, Neptune, DynamoDB)
• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with DevOps automation and "Infrastructure as Code" with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with Data Science Teams
• Experience with Spark / ETL
• Experience working with graph databases
• Experience working with microservices
• Experience with Agile development (Scrum, Kanban)
