We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Data Engineer to join our Machine Learning team and help us remove every obstacle between healthcare providers and the patients they care for.
What will you do at Nomad?
As the first Data Engineer on the ML team, you will be responsible for:
● Designing, building, and monitoring the data pipelines that support and accelerate the Machine Learning team.
● Building and maintaining the pipeline that keeps features in our Feature Store up-to-date.
● Analyzing and monitoring our Feature Store to ensure data integrity and eliminate data leakage in our model training pipelines.
● Building ingestion pipelines to pull data from external sources that will improve features used to train ML algorithms.
Who Are You?
● 3+ years experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a CI/CD production environment (preferably in Python).
● Excited to be the first Data Engineer on a Machine Learning team and therefore enjoys bringing clarity to ambiguity and helping drive the team to excellence.
● Thorough understanding of the best practices for monitoring data pipelines. Familiarity with Datadog is a plus.
● Passion for learning as well as mentorship and helping your fellow teammates grow.
● Outstanding verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate the design and implementation details of complex data pipelines.
● Experience with GCP is a plus.
● Experience building or maintaining ML Feature Stores is a plus.
