You will join a Data team that is here to build up and serve a best in class data platform to the whole company. Your role will be focussed on developing and deploying machine learning models which aim to tackle fraud. In this role you will have a huge opportunity to drive real value in the company.

What you’ll do 👀

• Develop and deploy machine learning models that are able to detect fraudulent behaviours; reducing fraud and risk to the company
  
  
• Proactively drive forward initiatives to improve our fraud controls through advanced analytics and machine learning
  
  
• Conduct deep-dive analysis in order to identify trends in fraudulent behaviours and propose data-driven mitigation insights with a goal of reducing fraud 
• Contribute to designing our data science platform for efficient model training and experimentation
  
  
• Work in a cross-functional team with Product, Data Science, Engineering etc

As a Senior you will be expected to:

• Mentor and coach other members of the team
• Contribute to our overall approach and standards across the machine learning workflow

You should apply if: ✅

• You have a proven track record of building, deploying and maintaining machine learning models in a production setting
• You have extensive experience working with Python and SQL
• You have a deep understanding of fundamentals of statistics and probability, including experience in conducting large scale A/B tests
• You have the ability to clearly communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You have either had experience with some of our tech stack or are confident you can cross train and up skill quickly 
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken
• You have a self-starter, curious mindset and you proactively identify opportunities which lead to a real impact on the company

Bonus points if:

• You have experience working with Google Cloud Platform 
• You have previous experience working in fintech
• You have knowledge of cryptocurrency

Our interview process takes place on Zoom and tends to consist of the following stages:

• Intro call with hiring manager (30 minutes)
• Remote take-home task 
• Technical screening (60 minutes)
• Final interviews (90 minutes)
