The Senior Director, Data Science will work with decision-makers across the company or external clients to understand their business goals, identify opportunities to use data and analytics to develop new insights, and to improve business results

The Senior Director, Data Science will establish and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders

The Senior Director, Data Science will take the analytical lead in all aspects of a modeling engagement, including design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, approval, implementation, monitoring, and reporting

This role will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on predictive models within the Advanced Analytic Services team and with business users; consult with the business, as appropriate, on predictive modeling solutions

The Senior Director, Data Science will validate the performance of existing quantitative risk models, to ensure that key KPIs are set and attained, and to recommend changes when necessary

This role will partner with internal D&B team to develop new business solutions in risk analytics

Requirements:

    • Master’s degree or higher with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as (Math/Stat, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, Operations Research, etc.) with 8+ years of applicable experience
    • Experience leading data scientists’ team
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both a technical and non-technical audience
    • Strong client collaboration skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
    • Ability to design and develop analytics products end to end
    • Deep knowledge and experiences in Machine Learning and AI and its application.
    • Hands on experience of building analytics solutions and the ability to conduct research utilizing Python, PySpark and SQL
    • Strong model development experiences for financial industry
    • Creative and inquisitive in nature, flexibility to learn and apply new methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience of development for Fraud prevention solutions 
    • Strong business acumen, especially in Financial Services Industry Experience or Supply Chain applications
    • Consulting Experience working with outside clients on statistical engagements
    • Strong technical writing skills
    • Passionate on stay abreast of cutting-edge ML and NLP methods, with good grasp of state-of-the-art NLP algorithms
$150,700 - $255,200 a year
**This role is eligible for Bonus**
