The Curriculum (Your Role):
Seesaw is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Business Intelligence who can lead Seesaw’s data architecture, data analytics, and data operations as we continue to grow.  This role is both a thought-leader at Seesaw, responsible for the vision, as well as a hands-on, execution-oriented teammate.

Your Classmates (The Team):
This role is part of the Operations Team, reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations.  In addition to working closely with Revenue Operations, this role will work closely with Finance and Product with direct visibility from senior executive leadership.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

    • Be a thought leader across Seesaw to build new and improved data tools and services that can scale with the company
    • Develop sustainable data solutions (architecture and infrastructure) with current and leading generation data technologies to meet the needs of our organization and business customers
    • Establish our strategic vision and execute against the roadmap for BI, Data Architecture, and Data EngineeringDefine the processes needed to achieve operational excellence and system reliability
    • Design, build and launch new data models and data pipelines into production
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to help define reporting and analytic requirements designed to deliver business  insights and decision-making capabilities
    • Work closely with the product, finance, and operations teams to prioritize and manage data engineering requirements for the business

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

    • 5+ years of experience and expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, data operations, data science, or other related fields
    • Experience with data pipelining, infrastructure, integration, and/or technical development of data architecture
    • Experience with Domo, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
    • Experience with Advanced Analytics languages such as R, PythonAdvanced, hands-on SQL work experience
    • Hands-on experience working with the “modern data stack” (dbt, Fivetran, Stitch, etc)
    • Familiarity with both smaller, high-growth settings as well as best practices at a larger scale
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work with rapidly-changing business data
    • Appreciation of the need and ability to design for flexible systems that adapt to evolving user requirements
    • The ability to concisely present data to drive outcomes, with strong written/verbal skills
    • Critical thinking and inquisitiveness coupled with a desire to continuously learn new skills
    • A collaborative attitude and the ability to establish partnerships and build consensus
    • The ability to have fun at work and foster team connectedness
