About the role:
Leads efforts within the organization to drive the design, development, optimization, and productionization of ML or ML-based solutions and systems that are used to solve strategically important problems. This role is also responsible for defining and driving the improvement of key ML infrastructure for model development, training, deployment needs and scaling ML systems.
What you will do:
o Architecting fault tolerant and self-healing distributed systems
o Work with data scientist to create highly scalable API services that's based on ML and statistic models
o Re-building our data warehouse to support growth, design next gen schema for analytics
o Find new ways to improve in-house batch processing framework and workflow orchestration
o Establish standard methodologies for creating systems and datasets for the entire company's use
o Work closely with other teams from across the organization
o Build and maintain the automation that manages data storage technologies
o Mentor fellow teammates on algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and best practicesFind new ways to improve data team initiatives and workflow orchestration
About you:
o MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field AND 4-years full-time Software Engineering work experience OR 7-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 4-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Programming language (e.g. Java, Python, or Go)
o Deep understanding of ML life cycle and stages
o Hands on experience with integrate ML pipeline into production environment
o Exposure to machine learning algorithms (e.g., tree-based techniques, supervised, deep, or probabilistic learning)
o ML model training, testing and monitoring Infra
Nice to have:
o Experience with Machine Framework such as Tensorflow/Pytorch, Caffe, Scikit-Learn, or Spark
o Experience with defining metrics for model selection
o Experience with Feature engineering and feature management
o Privacy aware/bias free/Interpretable ML
