As Spokeo grows, we seek a driven, innovative Senior Product Manager to lead the product function within our data teams. This Sr. TPM will work with other Product Managers to understand the business use cases for data, help identify and evaluate data sources, and work with Engineering and Data Science teammates to deliver data that delights Spokeo customers. This crucial role bridges the Web and Data teams and integrates Spokeo’s data with the customer-facing UI. Prior experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst is strongly preferred.
This individual will oversee prioritization, backlog management, provide direction and feedback to the team, and set and achieve delivery targets so downstream teams can execute their work. They will also manage timelines and communicate the status to business and executive stakeholders.
This Senior Product Manager role reports to the Senior Director of Product Management.
Responsibilities:
Own and prioritize product backlog and delivery schedules as a Product Owner (PO) within an Agile Scrum data delivery team – 20%
Define technical product requirements that are both functional (e.g., schema definitions, source-to-target business logic definitions) and non-functional (e.g., performance, SLAs, etc.) – 35%
Document requirements by writing epics and user stories that align to customer and business needs – 25%
Define acceptance and data quality criteria and then guide the Agile Scrum team to meet them – 10%
Be an internal champion of improving product delivery efficiency and quality on behalf of Spokeo’s customers – 10%
Requirements:
5+ Years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner working on SaaS data products
Understanding and appreciation of data, data architecture, data engineering, data analytics, and data governance
Strong experience in working with complex data dictionaries and data models
Demonstrated success in working with and leading cross-functional software development teams
A strong work ethic, creativity, assertiveness, and flexibility
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
