Senior Project Manager

3Cloud is headquartered in Greater Chicago area.  This is a remote based role in US based location only.  Travel up to 20%.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Plan, initiate & execute complex projects
• Proactively lead team in achieving customer satisfaction.
• Manage leading edge technology teams through the client engagement process - driving timelines, prioritizing tasks, and removing barriers.
• Manage project schedules and budgets to a high degree of accuracy.
• Manage scope and understand client’s need to properly assess parallel change projects that may cause change saturation and develop strategy to minimize the risk.
• Assist and mentor other Project Managers as needed in conjunction with practice leadership.
• Own formal status reporting, communications planning and management using various tools to support waterfall and/or agile methodologies.
• Contribute to pre-sales processes and activities.
• Contribute to 3Cloud communities / committees.

 Experience/Characteristics:

This role requires that you have:

• 5+ years consulting Project Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing projects using both Waterfall and Scrum (or other Agile-Scrum, Exteme Programming, Kanban, Crystal, SAFe, etc). methodologies.
• A history of actively managing issues and risks related to projects.
• Experience having led projects to successful completion within budget and schedule.
• Experience in managing the impact of enterprise changes related to projects and ability to balance the art and science of change and project management to scale and leverage techniques to build a strong, cohesive, and effective team to maximize ROI on project investments.
• Experience using Project Management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project or other similar tool.
• Strong communication skills and ability to speak to both technical and business stakeholders. You are articulate, straightforward, thoughtful, and consistent with strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• A history of exhibiting attention to detail and utilizing analytical skills to maintain a standard of quality.
• A passion for using technology to solve problems.
• A natural inclination for building and fostering relationships with clients and project teams.
• A love for problem-solving - you can prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and can guide a team through the issue resolution process.
• An ability to manage or lead multiple projects or efforts simultaneously.
• A knack for teamwork – you are most effective in a closely collaborative environment
• Exposure and experience working in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

In addition, while it’s not required, we’d love it if you had:

• Any kind of exposure to organizations managing large projects across each of our specific practice areas:
• Cloud Platform: Landing Zone and Foundation deployment, Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation, Server Virtualization and Workload Migration, Virtual Desktop computing, and Office 365 Migrations (both on-prem to cloud and cloud to cloud)
• Application Innovation: software or application delivery projects including App Modernization, Enterprise Integration, Experience Design, and DevSecOps
• Data & AI: Azure Analytics Services, data strategy, machine learning/AI, data science, reporting and visualization
• Experience with SalesForce / FinancialForce (Certinia).
