In 2020, JLL Corporate Solutions business implemented a new operating model that has created an operations enablement team to support the business in turning data into insights.  We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst that has responsibility for data, reporting and analytics across multiple JLL Accounts with a key focus on improving compliance, reducing cost and increasing productivity across Accounts.

Responsibilities

Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics

  • Lead BI key initiatives project delivery: including requirements analysis, charter (technical), managing project stakeholders, managing development lifecycle (development, test/QA, UAT, bugfix/retest cycles) through to training, go-live and phasing in of support & maintenance structures.

  • Supporting consulting organizations with all data requirements

  • Design, develop and deploy BI solutions, including interactive dashboards in Tableau, sourcing data from internal MS SQL Server databases, Tableau published data sources, external sources, and leveraging ETL tools when needed.

  • Support of account’s Tableau Project Sites, including structure, roles and access rights, training and supporting users.

  • Responsible for support of Client Data Warehouse including roles and access rights and importing data, when needed.

  • Responsible for design, setup and support of data governance and data integration processes using JLL ETL tools, ie. Alteryx, when needed.

  • Perform complex analyses leveraging advanced analytical techniques and big data environments / capabilities where needed.

  • Understand and define business/operation performance metrics and drive analytics to improve these metrics.

  • Develop own expertise and share it with the team members to help grow the team and improve productivity

  • Track use of delivered tools, diagnose and highlight areas of deficiency. Record and quantify benefits realized.

  • Engage account leadership to review use of and value extracted from tools to gain support/funding on necessary adjustments.

Data Validation & Governance Assistance

  • Leverage industry tools (i.e. Alteryx) and proprietary tools (i.e. Lighthouse) to assess data quality and assist to resolve data quality problems.

  • Assist with big data clean-up activities in relation to critical data sets e.g. property, finance, energy & asset data.

  • Assist the BI and Analytics team and Corporate Solutions data governance leads to define and document data remediation activities, processes and quality rules.

  • Work with business line data stewards and other stakeholders to identify remediation actions when Critical data quality falls below the accepted threshold.

Skills

  • High level of technical skills with demonstrated ability to manage, manipulate, analyse raw data, research data issues, draw conclusions, provide resolution, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Listening and consultative skills to understand business needs; be able to interpret requirements identify impacts and analyse problems.

  • Superior analytical and creative problem solving skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to collaborate across levels of enterprise within a geographically dispersed team.

  • Business analysis, consulting/advisory and/or project or client management experience will be a strong plus.

  • Strong analytical mind-set with an ability to interpret, visualize and tell the story behind the data.

  • Passion for both business understanding and leveraging data to improve business processes and support decision making.

  • Fluent English is necessary.

Experience

  • 4+ years of BI, business or data analyst experience required ideally in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functions with depth of experiences in financial analytics.

  • Demonstrated successes in data analysis, drawing conclusions and improvement.

  • Bachelor degree, Master degree or evidence of expert skill in BI, data science, computer science, econometrics, operations research, statistics, Information Management, or related analytical field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Expert level skills in Excel required.

  • Working experience in BI tools (Tableau preferred), querying databases (SQL), ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, Informatica) and bulk data manipulation is essential

  • Working experience in analytical toolkit (e.g. SPSS, SAS, R or Python) desired.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and framework a plus.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

85,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
