Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst, Sales Analytics
Slack is looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join our Sales Analytics team to help our Sales reps tell data driven stories about the value Slack brings to customers. The best candidate loves to help others, empathize with non-technical business partners, think like a product-manager, and tell beautiful visual stories with data! This person will take a design thinking approach to deliver dashboards, bots, and other analytics solutions that make it easy for Sales to use data at scale. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales Managers, Sales Enablement, Sales Ops, and the field to understand how BI solutions can accelerate our sales motions.
- Design and build a BI ecosystem that enables Sales Reps to self-serve the data they need at scale; including dashboards, custom Slack integrations, recurring reports and more.
- Educate non-technical business users on how to effectively tell Slack's story with data.
- Service ad-hoc analytics requests from customers and value driven reporting requests from Sales reps for customer accounts.
- Establish processes and standards that encourage trust with data and provide consistent metrics across the organization.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability in an Analytics or BI role supporting the Sales, Product or Marketing functions.
- 3+ Years’ experience with modern analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Clik, etc. Experience with advanced Looker development is a plus.
- Experience of working with Data Engineering and Integrations.
- Knowledge of Sales and CRM tools like Salesforce, Gainsight, Xactly etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems or related area.

- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
- Proficiency in one or many analytics languages like SQL/python/R etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management skills; ability to tackle multiple projects and initiatives at a time.
- Tight-knit collaboration skills and results-driven mentality.
- Design thinking concepts or other visualization concepts that drive story-telling.
