About this Role
Our Sr Director of Revenue Analytics opportunity is remote eligible in the US, and reports to our VP Global Revenue Strategy & Operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded Sr Director Revenue Analytics to lead our revenue analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing actionable insights and data-driven strategies to maximize revenue. You’ll play a key role in setting direction for our data-driven culture, fostering collaboration across departments, and ultimately contributing to the company’s success.
You Will...
Lead and manage a talented team of data analysts:
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, provide mentorship, and ensure team members have the resources and support to excel.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue analytics strategy:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards to track and analyze revenue performance across platforms.
- Leverage advanced data systems: Utilize and optimize platforms like Bigquery, Looker, AWS, and other data tools to conduct complex analyses and extract actionable insights.
- Identify and analyze trends and opportunities:
- Stay ahead of the curve by analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and user behavior to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders: Partner with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies and inform their decision making process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies:
- Continuously learn and adapt to emerging trends in digital advertising, analytics tools, and data science methodologies.
You Have...
- 10+ years of experience in online advertising and/or revenue analytics leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth through data-driven insights and analysis.
- Strong understanding of online advertising metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau), and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP).
- Experience with BigQuery or similar analytical database systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strategic thinking and a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
Bonus Points...
- Experience working at a publisher or platform where digital advertising is a revenue source.
- Experience with managing data from an order management system such as Boostr or Operative.
- You live in NYC or on the East Coast.
