Hopeful for those we support, rebellious in our approach, and collaborative by breaking down barriers, AccessHope is seeking a Sr. Manager, Data Science and Reporting to help us uniquely deploy the latest cancer knowledge to the places it’s needed most. As an ideal candidate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the data strategy for our organization. This role encompasses leadership, strategic planning, and the oversight of data science and business intelligence initiatives to drive informed decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models to uncover actionable insights.
  • Implement predictive analytics to enhance forecasting, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive and visually compelling reports, dashboards, and interactive analytics tools.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of business intelligence solutions to support decision-makers at all levels.
  • Collaborate with business units, IT, and other stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
  • Define and implement robust data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
  • Establish strong communication channels to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience plus min experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
  • 10 years of progressive responsibility in Healthcare or Employer Payer environment.
  • 5+ years in an interdisciplinary role with experience in data science, analytics, and reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Data Science and Analytics: Deep expertise in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Proficiency in leading BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align data initiatives with broader organizational strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex data concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.

Additional Information

  • Virtual within the Continental U.S.; support or collaboration across multiple time zones; may include travel up to 25%
