HashiCorp is looking for a Technical Program Manager who is excited to drive operational excellence through several cross-functional processes that impact many team members across multiple organizations. Through your work program managing, defining workflows and processes, you'll enable scalability and greater efficiency, as well as overall data engineering team health.
This Technical Program Manager will be supporting the Data Engineering & Analytics organization. Our mission as a Data Analytics & Engineering organization is to enable HashiCorp to leverage data as a strategic asset by providing reliable, scalable, and efficient data solutions. Our ultimate goal is to empower our stakeholders to make informed, data driven decisions, and achieve critical business objectives.
In this role you can expect to...
- Manage complex programs, lead coordination and planning for data engineering projects and activities to ensure that the processes run smoothly
- Manage the collaboration between Data Engineers, Product Analytics, Product Managers, GTM, Finance, and other business functions by identifying priorities, defining cross-functional milestones, and creating plans
- Own systems for project documentation, status tracking, and communication to coordinate between data engineering and project stakeholders to ensure delivery and overall project health.
- Work closely with leadership teams to drive execution of strategic initiatives, proactively identifying risks & obstacles along with mitigation plans
- Create project documentation, status tracking, portfolios, dashboards and communication between project stakeholders to ensure overall program health

- Experience leading analytics teams that support GTM, FP&A, Customer Support, and related organizations with a passion for optimizing data analytics that drive insight and innovation
- Experience in a rapid growth data engineering organization working cross-functionally with various teams delivering strategic projects as it relates to data sources, dashboards and developing actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- An appreciation for data engineering practice and process and are able to advocate for project owners as needed.
- Working knowledge and understanding of how these applications work together
- Data visualization tools: Tableau, Sigma, etc.
- Software tools: Jira, Lucidchart, Whimsical
- Querying languages: SQL, Python, etc.
- Cloud based data warehousing: Snowflake, AWS, Postgres, etc.
- Strong bias for action and an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$182,800—$215,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:
$167,500—$197,100 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$152,300—$179,200 USD
